The aided cost of household and similar waste management in Ile-de-France was EUR 93 per inhabitant in 2019, up nearly 3% compared to 2015, according to the latest analyses by ACR+ member ORDIF. ORDIF runs an observatory of household and similar waste management costs in order to provide managers of this public service with benchmarks for the Ile-de-France region and to enable them to compare their costs with regional or national standards. Thus, the detailed analysis of costs in Ile-de-France shows that the cost of “common” household and assimilated waste (including residual waste, dry recyclables except glass, biowaste, and excluding bulky waste and waste collected in civic amenity sites) amounts to EUR 67.3 per inhabitant, which represents 73% of the total cost of municipal waste management.
