ACR+ member ORÉE published the fifth part of its "Circular economy and value creation" collection of reports. The booklet “Circular Economy and Employment” identifies the responses proposed by the circular economy to develop sustainable, non-disposable jobs, allowing the reintegration of people who are far from employment while meeting future social and environmental challenges. According to the booklet, from an economic point of view, the prospects of the job opportunities generated by a circular transition are promising: the development of repair, reuse and recycling activities creates 25 times more jobs than landfilling. Extending the life span of products requires new phases of manual work such as collection, reverse logistics, sorting, repair, etc.
