Currently, more than 90% of ACR+ member Sofia Municipality  schools and kindergartens collect their packaging waste separately. According to the mayor, by 2023 this collection system in school and kindergarten buildings will be extended to 100% coverage. In June, pilot projects for separate waste collection in the municipality are expected to include kindergartens, where educational games and competitions will be organised. According to the mayor, children are the most enthusiastic supporters of green initiatives and become teachers for their families.
