The food and garden waste that ACR+ member Belfast collects from households and businesses is being used to create green oases for schools and communities across Belfast, thanks to a council initiative that go full circle and help create a greener city. Belfast City Council has teamed up with local supplier Natural World Products and is inviting schools, charities, and community groups to apply for free bags of high-quality compost to be used in school or community gardens, window boxes or vegetable patches.Source: www.belfastcity.gov.uk
