The Mayor of ACR+ member Zagreb presented a new Decision on the public service of municipal waste collection in the City of Zagreb, which has been in consultation with the interested public. The decision regulates a new model of collection of mixed municipal waste, which aims to reduce the amount of residual waste and increase recycling.Pursuant to the said Decision, the new model of collection of mixed municipal waste will consist of two parts - a fixed part which will amount to HRK 45 (EUR 5.98) and a variable part which will depend on the amount of mixed waste generated and will be charged through the purchase of standardized bags for mixed waste.Source: www.zagreb.hr (in Croatian)
