The implementation of the container for recycling organic waste has begun in the 19 municipalities belonging to the La Ribera region of the ACR+ member Government of Navarra. This will enable this collection system to be extended to more than 90,000 people. A total of 1,058 containers have been purchased at an approximate cost of EUR 687,000. The installation process is expected to take three months. The deployment of the containers will be accompanied by an information campaign.

The total implementation of organic waste collection in La Ribera means access to 28,000 tonnes of waste, with an estimated 14,000 tonnes of organic waste, which means 155 kilos per inhabitant per year or 425 grams per inhabitant per day.
