ACR+ member Comunidad de Madrid is submitting the draft Circular Economy Law to public consultation in order to start its processing. The proposed law incorporates the main elements of the circular economy, including the life cycle of products and materials, priority areas and sectors, and the impact on competitiveness, innovation and employment, in line with the European and Spanish plans.

The Law aims to generate innovative solutions to reduce the use of natural resources and raw materials, extend the durability of products and services and reduce waste, as well as contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. It also aims to promote research and innovation in production cycles and the use of resources.
