The Regional Government of ACR+ member Sardegna has approved the Sardegna2030 Regional Strategy for Sustainable Development. The Strategy consists of 34 Strategic Objectives, broken down into 104 lines of action for a smarter, greener, connected, more social and citizen-friendly Sardinia in 2030, to be built starting today.

As in the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development by UN, 41 targets have been identified to be achieved by 2030, all of which are necessary for a pathway to greater sustainability. These targets include: reduce waste production and implement integrated waste management, implementating the European Union's waste hierarchy; and promote responsible production and consumption, supporting production processes with a low environmental impact and a high social impact and encouragement of responsible consumption and adopting Green and Sustainable Procurement in view of the circular economy and responsible consumption.
