So-called out-of-home consumption, which also includes click & collect and drive-throughs, generates a lot of packaging whose impact on the environment must be reduced: by eliminating unnecessary packaging, by collecting it in the street, in public or private spaces, and by encouraging inhabitants not to throw it on the ground but to sort it. To succeed, it is necessary to identify this packaging. This is what offers to do the new study conducted by ACR+ member CITEO in partnership with Ademe. It shows that between 2012 and 2018, this type of waste increased of 3.7%. Glass is the first material of these packaging in weigh and represents 46.5% of tonnages (but only 2.6% of units).
