The Board of Directors of ACR+ member ARC has decided to award grants worth EUR 692,000 to various organizations and institutions in Tunisia, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Palestine and Lebanon, within the framework of the SwitchMed II program. This program works to achieve productive and circular economies, stimulating the ecosystem of sustainable entrepreneurship in various countries in North Africa and the Middle East, contributing to job creation, supporting companies with ecological and social innovations, economically viable and scalable to foster sustainable growth.

ARC has also approved a grant of EUR 150,000 to the National Agency for Employment and Self-Employment of the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment of Tunisia to execute the project "Support to the creation of circular economy companies at the local level in Tunisia” approved by the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation. Through this fund, 120 entrepreneurs will be trained to develop a sustainable business model and six companies will be supported to implement their circular business plan.
