Bruxelles Environnement Horizontal New 80px

ACR+ member Brussels Environment is opening a new edition of its zero waste challenge until 28 February. For eight months, the challenge invites inhabitants of Brussels to progress towards zero waste through practical workshops. Different themes are addressed in order to develop a zero waste know-how such as composting techniques, the fight against food waste, kitchen organisation, manufacture of cleaning products and cosmetics, repairs, textile upcycling, etc. The challenge also encourages visits and meetings between participants in order to exchange and discover zero waste solutions.

By reducing their average annual waste to 45kg, the challengers in previous editions have proved that producing 4 times less waste than the 170kg caused by the average Brussels resident is possible.
