The Government of the ACR+ member AMB presented to all the groups that make up the Metropolitan Council a new system for calculating the metropolitan waste treatment rate, in particular regarding shops and economic activities. The new calculation system would begin to apply on 1 October 2021. The new formula takes into account as a criterion the area occupied by each establishment, so that the rate is more adjusted to the reality,  and its waste production capacity.
