The Future of Work: Baseline Employment Analysis and Skills Pathways for the Circular Economy” report by ACR+ member Zero Waste Scotland and Circle Economy is the first assessment of its kind. It provides vital data on how sustainable the Scotland’s workforce is now and how to drive progress forward by creating valuable new jobs and businesses to forge a truly circular economy.

The report reveals that nearly one in ten Scottish jobs nationally and regionally is already related to the circular economy. Many of these posts are in core circular economy areas like repairing and recycling goods, while substantial numbers are in design and technology.
