Rijksoverheid, including ACR+ member Rijkswaterstraat, presented the Budget Day main measures. Among other, the cabinet invests in recycling, CO2 reduction, and circular economy. In 2021, the cabinet will release EUR40 million for new technologies or inventions for the circular economy. The cabinet would like the Netherlands to reuse 50% of the materials used as much as possible by 2030. And processes waste into usable raw material as much as possible. Ultimately, the goal is for the Netherlands to be fully circular by 2050.
