As part of its reflection on the challenges of industrial transition, ACR+ member Wallonia is testing a support system for innovative SMEs based on a societal challenge approach. The chosen theme is that of the circular economy in the field of plastics.  The "Plastics go green and circular" challenge will be an opportunity to contribute to a circular and greener value chain and rethinking the optimization of the use of plastic resources in the production, repair and reuse, recycling of plastic waste.

Ten SMEs, bearers of innovation projects, will be selected and will benefit from a European grant and specific support to accelerate their innovation project. The process, which will start this summer, should allow the development of innovative projects, and the construction of a community of actors around the plastic value chain and will strengthen collaboration between regional actors.
