ACR+ member Province of Fryslân will build a new control centre for bridges in the city of Leeuwarden in a  completely energy-neutral and largely circular way. The control center will be ready at the end of next year and will serve forty bridges in the future.

The province wants to realize the most circular building possible. This means, among other things, that at least 40% of the building consists of recycled material while some of the other new materials are made of organic matter. The building is foreseen to be one of the most circular in Fryslân and probably in the whole Netherlands.
