ACR+ member Paris adopted its first Circular Economy Plan in July 2017, a strategic tool for developing the circular economy in light of the challenges facing Paris region, and an operational tool for planning and the implementation of concrete actions. In parallel with the deployment of the Circular Economy Plan, Paris aims to support initiatives that contribute to the transition to the circular economy on its territory.

As such, the city has developed a “Focus on the circular economy” call for projects. The third call is now open (until 17 april 2018) and it will support projects focusing on one of the two following themes:

  1. Deposit-return projects that contribute to reducing the use of disposable single-use containers;
  2. Awareness raising, education and training projects that aim to increase knowledge about the circular economy and helps disseminate circular economy practises in Paris.
