ACR+ member City of Zagreb adopted a decision on service standards for the collection of household waste on 30 January 2018. The service standards regulate how recyclable waste and general rubbish will be collected, including a specification on types of bins, collection frequency and prices of these services as well as fines for non-compliance.

Fines could be imposed only after residents sign a declaration saying that they have received appropriate bins and containers for their properties.
