ARC | Grants for improving public facilities for the biological treatment of organic municipal waste

The Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) has approved the 2024 grant guidelines for improving existing public facilities that handle the biological treatment of organic municipal waste collected separately. These grants aim to support investments to enhance the management of organic waste in line with the Waste Management Infrastructure Plan for Catalonia. Eligible actions include improvements in mechanical and biological treatment, auxiliary facilities, and characterisation spaces. Local entities managing these facilities, such as municipalities and consortia, are the beneficiaries.
