A successful first edition!

More than 2,670 actions highlighting waste reduction took place between 21st & 29th November 2009, in more than 14 European countries.

From 21st to 29th November, a great variety of actions organised by public administrations, businesses, associations, schools, etc., took place across Europe in order to raise awareness about waste prevention.

A great success for this first edition of the European Week for Waste Reduction, which is being organized in the framework of a project co-funded by the European Commission.
