ACR+, via its president Josep Maria Tost i Borràs, will take part in the 2016 Congress of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) organised on 20-22 April 2016 in Nicosia. During this event, over 30 roundtables, lectures, world-cafés and debates will be organised for the 1000 participants, made of mayors, councillors, EU officials, business and civil society leaders, academics. The congress will focus on 7 key themes including Governance & leadership, economy & finance, environment, climate & energy.

ACR+ will join the session 14 on circular economy in Europe, presenting ACR+ current work on this topic but also giving key points on how cities and regions can fully embrace the circular economy, in particular to cover the spectrum of the cycle of product, and drive the transition process, using their power of innovation.
