ACR+ and its member WasteServ Malta are inviting you to an international conference on sustainable food and biowaste management, organised on 31 May 2016 in Valletta (Malta).

The full-day conference will be opened by European Commissionner for the Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Karmenu Vella, as well as Malta Minister for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change, Leo Brincat. It will include sessions focusing on common areas of concern regarding food waste and its prevention, territory-specific case studies on challenges and solutions for food waste management as well as presentations on biowaste management best practices from around Europe and the Mediterranean region. The full programme will soon be available online.

Delegates will have the opportunity to join free excursions on 30 May 2016, visiting the capital of Malta and the European Capital of Culture 2018 Valletta, as well as the old city of Mdina where all registered delegates can enjoy a dinner hosted by Wasteserv.
