The MINEV Project partners gathered in Klaipeda (Lithuania) from 25 to 27 July for a pivotal meeting that coincided with the city's Sea Festival. The event began with an open day that featured an Exchange of Good Practices workshop led by ACR+, providing a platform for stakeholders and guests to engage with the project's objectives. The session focusing on waste minimisation strategies for cultural events. Experts from various institutions presented initiatives and projects, addressing challenges and opportunities, with a focus on waste minimisation at the design/planning stage of cultural events and waste minimisation at the source and during the staging of events. The presentations from the workshop are now available, offering valuable insights into the discussions and strategies shared.

The meeting also included a study visit to observe the waste management practices at the Sea Festival, a visit to the Maritime Museum, and an awareness workshop aimed at festival attendees. These activities highlighted practical approaches to waste minimisation and sustainability, central themes of the MINEV Project.
