ACR+ actively participated in the 2023 European Sport Platform held in Lisbon, a significant gathering of sports organisations in Europe, organised by the European Sports NGO. This year's conference centered around the theme “Strengthening sport for stronger communities”. During the conference, the Green Sports Hub Europe project presented its final outcomes, including the mapping of existing initiatives, tools and standards, results of the survey on sustainability in European sports, leisure and fitness organisations, as well as the self-assessment tool for sports organisation to track their progress in transitioning towards more environmentally sustainable practices. Moreover, Green Sports Hub introduced plans for a European platform where sports organisations can collaborate, learn from one another, and access technical support from a diverse group of experts, practitioners, and consultants. ACR+ played a pivotal role by supporting a workshop focused on environmental sustainability in sports.
