The Community4Innovation project was launched on 31 January in Vic (Barcelona). The aim is to build and strengthen a cross-border cooperation network throughout the Mediterranean area and to realise sustainable development objectives in this region. The project will work towards several specific goals, such as the creation of a “Mediterranean Innovative Sustainable Economy Hub”, a multi-sectoral space to support innovative initiatives.

As part of the project consortium ACR+ will organise capacity building actions, including mentoring, study visits and peers exchange to facilitate replication in follower cities and regions of circular solutions developed in Interreg EuroMed projects. ACR+ will also support development of community of practices for the uptake of Interreg EuroMed results and knowledge exchange with key EU circular economy stakeholders, such as the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform and the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative.
