As part of the activities of the OREN project, ACR+ has developed a survey that aims at defining the main barriers and challenges that rural entrepreneurs face on their everyday work, and the needed skills to foster a rural business.

The OREN project aims to involve rural entrepreneurs in an interactive multi-stakeholder learning platform, which will train the participants in advanced managerial and business skills. Partners are currently working on the identification, understanding and assessment of both the origins and development of good business practices in rural areas and the factors that influence the conversion of starting businesses into successfully established ones. The cases can be related to many aspects of the sustainable development in rural areas, such as renewable energies, tourism, agriculture, circular economy, cultural heritage, and also valorisation of secondary raw material.

The survey is available in EnglishFrench and Dutch. Please feel free to promote it within your contacts and invite rural entrepreneurs that you might know to get in touch with ACR+ if they would like to be involved in the project.
