ACR+, as Secretariat of the EPR Club, together with its member CITEO, is organising a EU GREEN WEEK 2022 partner event titled “EPR principles as a bridge between waste and products policies”. The event will take place online on 1 June from 14:00 to 16:00 CET.

During the first panel representative EPR experts from OECD, CITEO and FEVE will discuss on how the design and implementation of extended producer responsibility (EPR) policies should motivate producers to improve the design of their products and packaging, and facilitating circular business models. A second panel will engage representatives from the EU Joint Research Center, ARC, Zero Waste Scotland and Nice in a roundtable on policy options for the revision of the Waste Framework Directive in order to reach municipal waste prevention objectives, and how cities and regions are already working on good practices to make circular economy a tangible and not so far future.
