ACR+ joined last week a session of the European Business Summit on circular economy opportunities in Europe. ACR+ Secretary General Françoise Bonnet discussed with representatives of the European Commission, EuRIC, and CEPS how recycling and the circular economy could help the EU achieve the targets set by the EU Green Deal and unleash innovation. She insisted on the need to have a clear legal framework with targets, obligations and incentives. Indeed, she noted that consumers are ready to spend to get a product that will last, is reparable and will be easily recycled but they do not have enough information on the products.
