The Steering Committee of the EWWR welcomed a new member last month: the Environmental Department of the Principality of Monaco. The Department joined the EWWR campaign for the first time in 2019, as a coordinator. It managed to mobilise a wide range of local actors and citizens that resulted in over 50 activities implemented in November 2019 in the country. One of these actions even made it among the finalists competing for an EWWR Award this year. Find out more and register for the Awards ceremony taking place on 25 June here.

The positive experience as a coordinator of the campaign motivated the department’s team and the Government representatives to contribute even more to the cause of waste reduction by deciding to join the strategic body of the EWWR.
