A pilot decentralised bio-waste management system was planned to be implemented by  DECISIVE on the campus of the Autonomous University of Barcelona during the second semester of the course 2019/2020. Unfortunately, this project is affected by the suspension of any attendance-based teaching activity for the rest of the academic year and the shutdown of all campus restaurants and cafeterias until further notice. Consequently, work is now being developed following two lines of approach. The first, by forecasting a feasible scenario of partial implementation of DECISIVE by the beginning of the new semester, and the second, by intensifying efforts in providing theoretical background information for other activities.
