On 13-14 January 2020, ACR+ travelled to Athens, Greece, for the first meeting of the Erasmus+ CEYOU – Circular Economy for Youth project. In the wake of the concerns about the environment and climate change that students have been showing worldwide via their strikes and demonstrations, CEYOU aims to promote, engage, connect, and empower young people around the circular economy. This will happen through dialogue with decision-makers, activity-based learning, open educational resources and a web application to connect change-makers on this topic.

In the next six months, ACR+ will lead the development of guidelines for the establishment of permanent forums for dialogue between youth organisations and local authorities to promote circular economy practices. This kind of forums will be tested by the project partners from France, Greece, North Macedonia, the UK, and ACR+ member Ufficio Comune per la Sostenibilità Ambientale - Comune di San Giuseppe Vesuviano in Italy.

Follow the project on Facebook and stay tuned!
