The H2020 URBANREC project ended in November 2019 with the project Circular Economy in Cities: URBANREC final conference, organised by ACR+ and hosted at the European Parliament. This conference, presented the policy recommendations developed in the frame of the project and showcased the partners’ technical and technological solutions for enhancing reuse, effective collection, separation and disassembly, and innovative products made from bulky waste.

In addition, to transfer the project’s results and knowledge applicable at EU level, a comprehensive guide on bulky waste management was prepared by ACR+ and an online interactive tool was created, including key deliverables and their summaries, a calculator instrument helping to visualise the quantitative impact of implementing URBANREC solutions, and an e-learning module bringing consumers and waste managers along with the possible steps of waste management process enabled by URBANREC.
