A new compendium of good practices promoting sustainability in sport

A newly released compendium offers a comprehensive collection of 21 good practices in responsible environmental management, circular economy, and nature conservation within the sports sector. Designed to inspire both the sport organisations participating in the ACCESS project and those beyond, as well as local and regional authorities across Europe, the resource highlights innovative approaches to integrating sustainability into sporting activities.
The selected practices, drawn from both ACCESS project partners and other European initiatives, were compiled through extensive research, interviews, and validation processes. This collection aims to showcase how sport organisations can contribute to environmental sustainability by adopting circular practices, reducing waste, and preserving natural resources.
