Collaborative and circular food systems can significantly reduce pollution of the environment, in particular by addressing food waste along the agri-food value chain, and can at the same time improve health of consumers and increase the resilience of local economies and communities. This event will present the innovative approaches of 5 European projects working in synergies (FOODRUS, CO-FRESH, FAIRCHAIN, LOWINFOOD, PLOUTOS) and an expert panel will address issues related to the sustainability of food systems at local and regional level.
