The FOODRUS project – an innovative collaborative circular food system to reduce food waste and losses in the agri-food chain – aims to develop and implement a circular food approach through a collaborative network based on the use of the ICT technologies to reduce food losses and waste along the agri-food value chain.

Highlights
The FOODRUS project is already halfway through the development of 23 innovative solutions to reduce Food Losses and Waste in the bread, vegetables, and meat & fish value chains. At the current stage, project partners are finalizing the design of solutions and the citizens’ science engagement and consultation processes. By the end of 2022 and throughout 2023 pilots will start testing the solutions.
