To help put the circular economy at the heart of the public debate in the context of the upcoming presidential election and accelerate the ecological and economic transition that is needed, ACR+ member CITEO has formulated ten proposals that can be implemented immediately: produce packaging and paper in a sustainable manner; strengthen recycling channels in France; revitalise the French paper industry; transform innovations into industrial solutions; enable the French to sort everywhere, even outside the home; co-construct solutions adapted to the challenges of the overseas territories; educate on eco-citizenship and the circular economy; fight against pollution and environmental crime; improve the European and national framework; and promote the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility internationally.
