AMIU Genova 80pxACR+ member AMIU kicked off the new bilateral controlled-access proximity selective collection system in Genoa, for both household and non-household users. The first part of the project will run until mid-June and will involve the placement of 1,500 new containers in the districts of Struppa, Molassana and Staglieno. This service will also extend to the districts of Marassi, Foce and Albaro by the end of the year. The system consists of new generation waste bins for differentiated collection, with larger dimensions, added useful features to prevent unauthorised deposits. The bins also include front and rear infographics with useful information for the correct disposal of waste.Source: www.amiu.genova.it (in Italian)
