PREPSOIL is working hard on developing long lasting interaction spaces and on improving knowledge and awareness about soil health. Several Community of Practices (CoPs) engaged in Sustainable Soil Management have been identified across Europe. Their profiling and a description of the activities they perform can be found on the Soil in Practice section of the PREPSOIL project’s website. But what is a CoP? CoP can be defined as a group of people who “share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly”. The PREPSOIL Soil CoP section gives the possibility to interact with the Soil CoPs through the Forum tool. Here, anybody can ask questions to the CoP contact point, start a discussion, make propositions about replication in other territories, or simply advise on connected activities that might empower the work of the CoP. The Soil CoP section and its forum is a place to get inspired, exchange and foster the development of good soil health practices. Soil CoPs can be identified in different contexts, the agricultural sector, the urban environment, the industrial and post-industrial context, and in natural and forested areas. We look forward to your participation in the identification of new CoPs, and to your contributions to the forum discussions. Would you like to be part of the PREPSOIL CoP community? Register here!
