Groupe One

Groupe One is a NGO based in Belgium. For over 18 years, Groupe One is developing an economy that serves human and is respectful of nature, and has contributed to the creation of more than 1000 sustainable businesses.

In North and South, Groupe One is developing 5 types of action:

• Awareness of (future) sustainable entrepreneurs
• Training young people, companies, job seekers and potential entrepreneurs to motivate the entrepreneurial spirit in a responsible and sustainable manner;
• Support entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs in more sustainable business models;
• Green Economy Networking, including the development and promotion of eco-industries and the development of innovative concepts and tools for entrepreneurs aiming at integrating circular economy challenges in their core business (circular.academy toolbox, Ecotoolkit);
• Leading pilot projects, e.g. in the green sectors (Aquaponiris), new food trends (Festival Taste of Brussels) and food waste (Tiffin).
