The Greater Pamplona Area Council is a localgovernment body comprising 50 municipalities including Pamplona, responsible for the following public services: Comprehensive water management cycle (Supply, Sewerage and Wastewater treatment), Waste collection and treatment, Greater Pamplona Area transport service, Taxi Service and Greater Pamplona Area Riverside Park. In 2017 the population of all the municipalities making up the Pamplona Area stood at 365,597 inhabitants.
