FOLOU project partners strategise and reflect on year one progress

The FOLOU project partners met in Ancona on 25 and 26 January to assess the work performed over the first year of implementation.  While a framework for the measurement of Food Losses in primary production tailored to different crop categories is currently being defined by Espigolados, field testing activities using Artificial Intelligence and Remote Sensing technologies are also unfolding in the six pilot regions.

Starting from 2024, ACR+ in collaboration with its member the Waste Agency of Catalonia and the Mediterranean Information Office for the Environment, Culture and Sustainable Development will start identifying and engaging European regions interested in improving their performance in food losses management across their regional production systems.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact Agnese Boccalon for further details.
