Already six month combatting nutrient pollution in the Mediterranean

The SEACURE project already counts with one semester of combatting nutrient pollution in the Mediterranean basin. To discuss activities performed during that time in the six demo sites, ACR+ proudly welcomed 35 representatives of partners from Italy, Greece and Spain in Brussels for the first consortium meeting since the kick-off in September 2024. Among those activities, ACR+ performed a first analysis of the governance aspects related to stakeholders' engagement capacity, and representativeness of actors for the first roundtables organised in the pilots (in Spain, Italy, and Greece). ACR+ also presented during the meeting an initial conceptual framework of the Decision Support Tool (DST) that we will be developing to support public actors in selecting intervention measures to address soil and water pollution from nitrates.
