ENT | New project on the prevention of food waste in schools

The ENT Foundation has received funding from ACR+ member the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) for a project on preventing food waste in schools. The initiative will develop educational units for primary school levels to raise awareness among students and indirectly influence families. These units will provide information on food waste across the supply chain and different consumption areas, along with tools to combat it at school and home. Schools involved in the project will collaborate in their creation, and an analysis of wasted food in kitchens and dining halls will be conducted to gather real data and define reduction strategies.
