Empowering local authorities in the clean energy transition

The SPARKLE project has unveiled its new website, offering an innovative capacity-building programme to support local and regional authorities (LRAs) in their clean energy transition. The programme includes a common track for climate planning knowledge and five specialised tracks focusing on governance, fossil-free districts, community energy, sustainable food, and resource-wise economies. Additionally, the platform will feature in-person thematic schools, a free transition pathway modelling tool, and mentoring opportunities, all tailored to meet diverse learning styles for maximum impact.

All SPARKLE resources will be available in six languages—English, French, Italian, Croatian, Lithuanian, and Portuguese—ensuring accessibility across Europe. Those eager to join the first training sessions are encouraged to contact SPARKLE via the website to stay informed about upcoming opportunities.
