Students in Warsaw schools will learn how to avoid wasting food and how to prepare healthy, balanced meals as part of a project led by the City of Warsaw. Interested schools can sign up for the next round of workshops, covering two aspects:
- School doesn’t waste: This project, aimed at 5th-7th graders, promotes reducing food waste through teamwork and practical solutions, such as improving cafeteria practices. One class per school acts as a change ambassador. In the 2023/2024 school year, over 1 400 students from 57 schools participated.
- I know what I'm eating: Workshops for 2nd graders focus on nutrition, cooking skills, and respect for food. In 2023/2024, over 9 500 students from 135 schools took part.
