ARC | The Catalonia Ecodesign Award opens call for applications for its 2025 edition

The Catalonia Ecodesign Award 2025, organised by the General Directorate of Climate Change and Environmental Quality in collaboration with the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC), has officially launched, with applications now open for the 2025 edition. Candidates can apply for Categories Product and Product in Development until 8 November. This year's award continues to highlight the efforts of Catalan designers, manufacturers, and students to create more sustainable and environmentally friendly products.

The award recognizes products or services designed, manufactured, or executed in Catalonia that improve environmental performance throughout their life cycle. With over twenty years of commitment to integrating environmental aspects into design, the prize values ecodesign strategies and contributions to the circular economy, innovation, and design quality. The award is open to designers, product manufacturers, and students based in Catalonia and occurs every two years.
