Reuse and repair in action

Advancing sustainability at large events

Welcome to the first episode of the webseries "From insight to action: behavioural shifts for circular change"!

During that episode, we will explore the vital role of reuse and repair in shaping sustainable practices, with a special focus on large-scale events.

The webinar will dive into key policy developments such as the Right to Repair and the Directive on Repair of Goods, and how these frameworks are applied through the lens of the social economy.

This session, organised under the INTERREG MINEV project ("Waste minimisation in large events"), brings together practitioners and policymakers to exchange practical solutions for implementing reuse and repair systems—ranging from reusable catering infrastructure to innovative sharing platforms. We’ll also examine how cultural institutions and municipalities are supporting sustainability transitions and creating new opportunities for social entrepreneurship.
