In 2019 the URBACT Resourceful Cities Network led by ACR+ member The Hague  embarked on a journey to develop the next generation of urban resource centers, hotspots for circular co-creation and action and closing of local resource loops. Next 19 October, nine European cities want to share their stories with you. In three short thematic sessions, project partners will showcase their local impact, share some of the ‘nuts and bolts’ of setting up urban resource centers, and share stories of involving and mobilizing local stakeholders. A closing panel with politicians will talk about urban resource centers as a way to support the circular transition in cities. After the sessions participants can join a guided tour of the Circular Impact Factory. This official side event of the European Week of Regions & Cities is hosted by the city of Mechelen at their new Circular Impact Factory.
