ACR+ member Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) organised on 11 June the fourth edition of the Ultra Clean Marathon, the plogging race with the greatest impact in Catalonia, promoting environmental awareness through sport. A total of 23 teams and 180 runners took part in the event and collected waste throughout the entire route.

Thanks to the teams that took part in the race and the volunteers at the various beach clean-ups, 550 kg of waste were collected. These include 150 kg of light packaging, almost 90 kg of paper and cardboard, 52 kg of glass waste and 330 kg of various types of waste: waste electrical and electronic equipment, scrap metal, towelettes, cigarette butts, etc.
