New circular economy innovation initiative kicks off

ACR+ recently participated in the kick-off meeting of the European Circular Innovation Valley, an ambitious initiative aimed at creating Europe’s largest circular economy innovation ecosystem. This five-year project seeks to promote sustainable development and collaboration across the continent by fostering innovation and transforming value chains. Through an interregional approach, the initiative aims to bring new circular solutions to the market, supporting Europe's transition towards a circular economy.
With a budget of EUR 27 million, the project involves 9 regions and 19 partners, including a EUR 16.3 million innovation call to support ground-breaking solutions. The initiative’s mission-oriented framework will ensure that regions work closely together to address circular economy challenges, driving sustainable practices and economic growth.
